Hi, kids! The Bernardsville Police Department wants you to be safe -- safe at home, safe with your friends and relatives, safe in school, and safe in town. Here are some fun websites for you to learn about safety!

Our D.A.R.E. Kids website is lots of fun, with lots of great activities for you to play with!  D.A.R.E. gives you the skills you need to avoid getting involved in drugs, gangs and violence. 

The FEMA for Kids site teaches you how to be prepared for disasters and how you can prevent disaster damage. You can also learn what causes disasters, play games, read stories and become a Disaster Action Kid. Disasters aren't fun, but learning about them is!

So, you like all of the super heroes on TV. Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a crime fighter? There are plenty of links on the FirstGov for Kids website about different people and places that keep you safe.


Kid's Corner of the National Safe Kids Campaign has some fun puzzles on safety.

Parents and teachers can also get lots of great information about child safety from the Safe Kids website. The National SAFE KIDS Campaign is the first and only national non-profit organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury — the number one killer of children ages 14 and under.

SafeTeens.com is for teenagers. You know all about the Internet -- probably more than your parents -- and you are getting to an age where you can take care of yourself. Well, taking care of yourself is what SafeTeens.com is all about. We believe that teens should take care of themselves but sometimes they need a bit of help or at least some advice. You won't find any moralizing on SafeTeens.com nor will you find us talking "down" to teenagers. We're not here to tell you where you can and cannot go online but we are here to say that your actions do have consequences.
